Missouri

There was this gorilla that walked and growled. Morgan loved it!  We  met Carson's family in  Missouri. This is where Carson calls home. His sister still lives there so we bunker at her home. It was 90 degrees and humid.  We caught a few thunder/lighting storms. Not as many as Carson would have liked but we got some nonetheless. I enjoyed the fireflies at night. A lot of his siblings hadn't met our kids yet so it was a treat to let them finally meet. The trip was lots of fun.

Carson finally realized why I take Wyatt swimming all the time....he loves it. Now Carson will finally start going with us on the weekends. yah!

We celebrated lots of holidays while we were there since we don't get to be together for the real holidays. We celebrated 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Easter, Birthdays, St Patricks Day....I'm sure I'm forgetting some. Great idea, the kids loved it!

Maybrie & Blyth. Blyth is our future vet in the family. She loves animals. This was in her  front yard. The mom abandoned them so she feed them for a couple days until a storm came....

We drove by his old high school and I insisted we go inside and try to find  his "My Football" trophy. His name is on the top left. What a man.

There is a reservation down the street from Carson's sisters house. Elk!

Morgan and Wyatt at their first Movie - Madagascar 3. They were both good the first half. The second half Carson had to hold Morgan on the side and Wyatt was running around in circles around the rows of chairs. Good thing the theater was pretty much all ours.

Independance, Missouri is like 20 minutes from where Carson grew up. This is the RLDS temple.
